Anyone play with a G45 x5 magnifier yet? Wondering how the eye relief stacks up to the x3 and what the general experience was like.

Eye relief is similar to the G33 but not as good as the G43. Slightly more tunneling than the G33 but side to side view is still very good. Overall the extra magnification helps for what you intend to use it for most likely. I really like it for zeroing as well since 3x @ 50 yards is just not enough for me to be as precise as I would like. I ran one in a short 5k R&G with stages out to 300 yards featuring reduced sized torsos and appreciated the extra magnification.

Are these still due out in Q1 2021? I know L3 Harris is running behind on their NV tube production and Eotech just split from them. Curious if they are still on target.
Photos taken at 0713-0715. Methodological sunrise at 0728. Nx8 set as close to 5x as possible. G45 used with T2. Gazebo distance roughly 80m. Yes, the fov on nx8 is smaller. I am very pleased with the clarity and light gathering of the g45/t2. Resolution suffers a bit, but shouldn't be much of a functional limitation <300m, imo. I will do more in depth parallax/zero shift testing in the future, but preliminary results show very minimal.
