With this old time winter sticking around I've been making up a new equipment list that I think I'll need for the any Ohio Long Range Plate matchs we have coming up next soon.
A gun that shoots something big enough to poke fist size holes in the snow to see any misses. If ya never miss cross this one off.
Tracked vehicle with very high ground clearance to go thru the 7 feet of the snow we'll have by then.
Portable shelter with high output heat to stay wam on the sub freezing days and keep out of the wind.
Some type of spotting scope to see thru heavy snow past the 100 yard line unless we get lucky and don't have a blizzard day.
7 foot tall bipods or portable shooting bench that can be raised 11 feet to clear the snow drifts unless you can shoot thru a tunnel hacked out by the fella that tried to shoot in front of you.
hmmm, know I'm missing some things but that will be a good start.
YAY for winter but at this rate we'll be shooting on snow around here till May.
