About 5 years ago the Dark Helmet suit came on the market and I had a chance to buy it. Autographed and with a Certificate of Authenticity, all from the Spaceballs crew.
I told my girlfriend I was buying it and I'd chase her around the house wearing it.
Then she found out that the Dark Helmet suit was $4,500, and suddenly she was no longer interested, but insisted that we instead take a vacation.
DAMN!!!!
