extended gas tube?

Just wondering if anyone knows where I could find an extended gas tube for a dpms lr308. I would like one 3" longer then rifle length. I have also tried the google search and couldn't find anything.

UM, you have 4 choices for gas tubes, rifle, mid, carbine and pistol ....... good luck finding something other than those 4.

Is this for a 260? I remember a member here FCS was telling me that his had an extra long gas tube.

Yeah it is for a 260. I have seen a few posts on here with people that have them but none of them say where they got them. I wonder if they just made them custom or if somone offers them.

Here is the part number for the +2" one -

And though I would expect it to be intuitive, you need your barrel contoured and the gas hole cut to work with a 2" longer gas system. I have one on a 26" barreled upper from John and it works great. Three of us were shooting rifles with WOA +2" gas systems on them yesterday.

Thanks for the link. Yeah I knew I would have to get the barrel set up for it thats why I'm asking I need to figure this out before ordering it. Once again thank you I have been looking all over for this.
