NRA mid range prone matches (conventional or F class) are held between 300 and 600 yards. Long range is 800 to 1000 yards.

The match program (which was approved by the NRA before being released to the participants) will make much more sense when you understand the rules. Here is a google documents link to it. https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B2p...yMjYy&hl=en As well as the 2011 updates. http://www.nrahq.org/compete/rulechanges.asp The fullbore book is relevant as well for F Class as F Class often shoots along with these matches too. http://www.nrahq.org/compete/rules/fullbore_10.pdf
