Re: facebook

I have used facebook to promote my work and its paid off very well for me. I dont mean advertising on facebook only networking and making facebook friends. Yes the people that post stupid sh*t but thats part of it. To each his own. YMMV PGG

Re: facebook

Some people just don't have a damn thing to do besides set around and read what other people put on the computer then post a comment

Is what they put on facebook that much different from what you just wrote?

Re: facebook

My wife is obsessed with facebook, everything we do she has to post about it, drives me nuts, she even went as far a to make a facebook page for our dog. Absolutely nuts, I think she needs to start working more than 2 days a week, LOL

Re: facebook

It scares me. It started out as a social network with only the intention to share activities and views. Now it seems too many companies and agencies monitor it for info gathering and profit motives.

It actually started as many things do, as a way to get laid. Facebook was cool until they allowed everybody, not just .edu, to become a member. That's when it went from people based to company based.

^ Not Facebook, but rather Twitter. Pretty much the same concept though and pretty funny, but sadly very true.
