Range Report Factory 6.5x47 fit in custom chambers?

Searched first to no avail.

If I ever have/need the occasion to use factory 6.5x47 Lapua rounds I wanted to make sure my chamber is not too short in the throat area. My chamber specs out at .104" throat length. Any one have any idea what throat is safe? Oh, and my buddies chamber throat is .093?

I don't know my chamber dimensions, but I do know that factory 6.5x47 ammo loaded with 123 scenars is longer than my throat allows. I am right at a LOAL of about 2.595"-2.600" with 123 scenars. My gunsmith said that the reamer was custom spec'd so that the 123 Scenars sit at the optimum length in the case. If I want to shoot 130 bergers or similar, I will need to have the throat lengthened.

Same story here 2.635" puts me .010 off the lands with 123 scenar chambering. The factroy stuff was way too long and overpressured. JCS
