Factory ELD 140v147 POI change

Good afternoon,

I zeroed my rifle with Hornady 147 ELDs but would like to shoot the 140s. I know the velocity of the 140s and they group better out of my gun. How much of a POI difference is there between the two factory loadings? I’m certain I’ll re zero using the lighter bullet, just wondering if anyone has experience with both?

So many variables, ( altitude, velocity ) it would only be a mathematical equation for an answer.

As mentioned , shooting them side by side will produce your best answer.

Not factory ammo but I tested a 140gr load and it had the same POI as my 147gr loads.

My 130gr loads are about .1mil high and .1mil right vs my 147gr loads.

So I imagine they'd be pretty close.

Comparing factory hornady ammo. Which is a better performer? Is the loss in MV worth the added BC?
