Is there really such a thing as a 'Fast' or 'Slow' barrel or is it a "No Free Lunch" type deal where a 'Fast Barrel' it producing higher pressure (or perhaps a better pressure curve, my understanding of the details of this are less than some) and thus more velocity. Maybe its a dumb question, I know my 308 seems to be very fast for its length when comparing to load books, while my Howa is 'Normal'. My AI is turning out to be a bit fast as well. Given my propensity to F up handloads. I'm maybe just being cautious about pressure.
