The only blue part of VA :(
i have had several and am always looking around. currently run a magpul PRS stock on a noveske barreled 16'' and its great from prone but offhand it feels balanced to far back.

suggestions? i like to have the adjustable comb since i cant get a good cheekweld with anything that doesnt have a high comb...

what do you guys use for shorter barrelled AR's?

EDITED: have a 3-9x42 SS mounted as my scope

Re: favorite AR stock for precision shooting?

I use lower mounts and smaller objectives when possible. I really like th ecenter of my optics to be as close to possible to where the sight line is for regular fixed sights.

If I can make this happen, then I use my favorite stocks-a plain jane A2 or a Magoul UBR.

What Sobr said. If you get the lowest rings possible for your rifle the A2 stock will fit the bill. However if you want iron sights under your rifle (route I went) and forces you to have a higher mount then the PRS is perfect because its fully adjustable. Not just for the cheek weld, but also the length of pull!

right now i have it mounted in an SPR1.5 mount by Larue to go over my backup irons. i cant get any lower and still keep the iron sights....

i do like that magpul stock you mentioned... looks like a good option
