Not me.

1000Y and less just a good old 6mmBR with 107's.

Currently past that 6.5 Saum with 140 hybrid at 3240 fps. I hit a 18" plate at 1987Y, 2 out of 4 tries.

When my Wildcat 30-375R barrel was shooting good the 230's at 2935 fps did better.

Had a 375CT back when it was a Wildcat like 16 years ago. Those are hard to beat! Back then brass was crappy and solids were hard to come by. PITA so I sold it. I'd do one now but a $10,000 rifle sitting in the safe being shot a few times a year at $10 a pop doesn't make sense at this point in my life.

6 mm and 6.5mm based cartridges are fantastic performers...i used a 6.5 CM for quite some time and absolutely enjoyed it.

I used to run many different cartridges in my SRS and HTI Desert Tech,s ....some time ago i decided it would stick with 2 ...375CT and the 50BMG. I sold off my SRS and all associated barrel conversions. Doing this enabled me to put a lot of funds into consumables for both the 375 and 50..

I regularly shoot anywhere from 50-80 rounds of 375CT on each outing...and i shoot very very regularly.

I have just got another batch of 390gr Atip projectiles ( 4500 ) for the 375 ..... got 2440 rounds through my fist barrel .. Bertram Brass is giving me circa 22-25 reloads before cases start to show high signs of internal case head erosion ..

Love shooting the CheyTac....... in my setup its just like shooting the 6.5CM only with much much greater range.. :)

I don't quite understand exactly why (maybe projectiles didn't transition to subsonic well) but a guy I used to know back then who had a Windrunner 50BMG using 750gr AMAX handloads had trouble hitting a 27" plate by 1900Y, and by 2100Y he couldn't hit it.
Meanwhile during the same outing I could tag both steel often with the 375CT using 350 gr Hooker tactical solids. I couldn't see where on the steel I was hitting because/solids. Time to go so when I went to get my steel I had 3 hits about 7" apart on the upper right hand corner at 2100Y.

I enjoy the 50 a lot. BUT it is VERY finicky with loads..
I get excellent results with the 750 Amax,s ...but it took quite some time to find a load that was consistent at extended ranges...ie 2000+

Re Solids,.... Yeah.. i use the Hornady 390 Atips...so hits are very easy to spot even at 3000yds plus.
My good friend who also uses the 375ct in his HTI uses Berger 379gr SOLIDS ...... hits on plates at even 1 mile are extremely hard to spot !!!!

I've shot 6.5saum for years, great round IMO.
What is your barrel length and load for that 140@3240? When I was using 140's, ran them at 3120 from a 26" barrel . At 3160 things got interesting, as in blowing or getting serious flattening of primers, was using H1000.

It's a Surgeon XL, 9 twist Bartlein, at 29". I use 60.9gr Retumbo, Fed215, BUT I'm shooting out of a long action with the throat farther out and significantly longer OACL.

Thank you. Figured you had a long barrel.
That long action would be real nice for 153 0r 155gr Bergers. In my short action they need to be seated fairly deep to fit in the mags, costing me some space for powder.

My favorite is my 300 PRC. Very comfortable to shoot. Not so with anything much bigger. It's my go-to for up to ~2250. I'm still trying to tame my 375, which is hard when I can only get about 30-40 rounds out of it before my shoulder says no.
