UPS has some kind of flat rate deal, not sure how that's done and maybe it's only for certain kinds of business shippers. I bought around 600 rounds of 308 from someone here on the Hide and asked about it when the package arrived and listed "4 lbs." He said it was because of the flat rate deal and "It's great for shipping ammo."
