I have about a hundred federal nickel cases for my 300WM that have been fired once. My question is are they worth the effort to reload? I annealed a bunch of brass yesterday and did them as well. Afterwards I sized a couple of the nickel cases and what a bitch.....i don't know what direction to go with them. Are they worth the extra effort?

That's exactly what I do with the big nickel cases. Use them for hunting rounds so they can easily be distinguished from other ammo.

I have thousands of Speer nickel 223 once fired brass. They reload as easy as regular brass. I've also used a good bit of 308 nickel brass. They also load all right.

30/06 and 300 WM gets used for hunting ammo.

The one thing I do is run ALL of the nickel cases through the tumbler and make sure they are clean before they get run through the F/L die. I'm sure dirt / grit on the nickel would fuck up a die quicker than regular brass.

It seems like the nickel cases are harder to neck size. Maybe it is just me. I will give them a go. It will be better than tossing them.

I've FL sized some Federal .308 nickel plated cases and didn't really notice anything different when doing so. They've only been fired 2x, so far. I even turned the necks, which you can probably tell in the pics below on these I just loaded up last night:
