Federal Terminal Ascent

I handload them for my winnie. Extremely accurate behind Reloder 26 and work well on game if that is what you are after. If I remember correctly, they are one of the only bullets I have found that seemed to match their advertised BC pretty close when I validated.

Have a couple elk and a handful if deer out of my 300wsm.
I got a case in trade and I'm working on them. The accuracy is nothing to brag about, but for free factory ammo. It has always held sub-moa. I bought a box to try in my kids 6.5cm and it was 2moa, while his handloads and factory hornady is .75'ish.

This was my only recovered bullet. Broadside Elk around 200yds. I hit a rib coming in and going out. It destroyed the lungs and was caught in the offside hide.

I believe this is essentially the same bullet that is in Federal LE308TT2 (168gr). At this point, I can't count how many hogs I've nuked with that ammo. Never more than one shot required, even with the lower velocities of a 308. However, on deer I prefer its 165 grain predecessor. It was called the trophy bonded bearclaw and now I think Fusion. Passed a buddy a box last year, and he took an elk with it. Box loads with either bullet have been sub-moa in every rifle I've tried, and I have absolute confidence in the terminal ballistics of either.

Thank you. Yea I think they are the evolved trophy bonded bear claw. They have a pretty high bc in 3006 which is why I was looking at them . Been shooting a lot of deer with the 150 fusions but thinking about the TAs in case I draw a late season elk tag in the near future.
