Been creeping around this forum since 2007, but never thought to join?? I've always enjoyed the concept of precision shooting/sniping but i've never built a precision rifle until 7 years after my craze of shooting and guns. Since then I've learned to build AR's purchase several firearms, discovered my dad's extensive secret collection and learned to reload various calibers.
Two years ago i purchased my first bolt gun at a Turners BF sale where i lined up (first in line) at 2am to pick up a Howa 1500 with hogue stock in .223 and a nikon prostaff. That rifle was a very easy shoot, but built on a minimal budget and as an entry level precision plinker.
Recently I've purchased a Savage 10FCP HS-Precision in 308. I packaged it with a SWFA 10x42, SWFA low rings, Weaver 20MOA base, Harris 9-13 bipod, Dark Eagle Custom 10rd Magazine, and Dark Eagle Custom extended mag release lever. Seems to have a ton of potential.
