What is the best method? Will corn meal work or is it detrimental to a fine match grade barrel? Any loads or recipe would be greatly appreciated!

Corn meal isn't going to hurt anything, just clean the barrel well before you shoot real boolits from it.

I've used Bullseye, but Unique is quick as well. I would start low, like 10gr with cream of wheat or corn meal on top.
If the cases don't fully form up how you'd like, work up some more powder in them.
I guess it depends how many you're doing too, there's no reason to burn more powder than necessary in this situation.
