Well after all the mess with Ar-15s I sold my parts I ordered and focused on building a fun and accurate 10/22. I started off with a 10/22 with an ATI stock I bought from a friend for $180. I took the stock, barrel, and receiver off and sold the stock for $110. The barrel is on ebay now. So when it is all over with I should have around $50 in the bolt and receiver.
I just ordered a GM 16in stainless Fluted barrel for $132.
Hogue ghillie tan stock for $84.
Send the trigger assembly off to brimstone gunsmithing for a their 2 job full size trigger and 2 pound trigger pull. $75
So with that set up im in it around $340. I feel that is a really good gun for that. Granted I still need optics which I have no idea what I want. Also will be adding small accessories here and there. When I start to put it all together I will take pictures for everyone
