Saturday was opening day of the early white wing dove season. My old man, stepmother and I limited out in an hour. Should have been much sooner than that but we all had to find our groove. I have 45 dove in the refrigerator. We are gonna wrap them with jalepeno and bacon and put them on the grill tomorrow. I’m going again this evening and expect the same. Anyone other Texas guys hunt?

I'm in Texas, around San Angelo. Working this weekend, but i'll be heading out once I'm off after tuesday. From what I've seen, most everyone is doing well this year. Unlike last year.
We did well again this evening. We were a few short of limits but got close and had a good time.
HaroldCoulter, dove hunting was fair here last year. Not great but fair. I’m near El Campo. Last year was the first year that we had the early whitening season. Normally we don’t start until mid September
