Hey everyone,
I just received my GAP Hospitaller this past week. Let me just start off by saying that I am extremely impressed, there is something to be said about everything that went into this rifle. It all starts with the stock, Tom Manners really did this right. From the moment I got behind it, my hand literally fell right into a natural and relaxed state. The texturing is perfect with just enough tackiness to get a purchase but not over bearing. Todd Jackson did a fantastic job with the Digicam and would recommend him to anyone that is interested in getting their rifle dressed. The Surgeon 591 action is built like a tank and smooth as silk, seriously. The overall fit and finish is 5-stars - GAP really made a solid girlfriend.
-Specs-
[Caliber] .308
[Action] Surgeon 591
[Barrel] Fluted Bartlein 24" 5R 1/11 Twist
[Stock] Manners T4A
[DBM] Badger M5
[Trigger] Jewell
For now it's going to wear my NXS 8-32x56 until the Premier 5-25x56 comes in. Additionally, I put the standard Harris bipod on there just for show.
I will post more pictures once I mount the scope and also range report, all within time.
