Bought all the equipment to build Kydex holsters in December and finally decided to set it up and try my hand at it.

First attempt is for a Kahr CW9 with Crimson Trace. Been wanting to try and carry this gun either OWB or IWB.

Figured out a couple of things that I need to change for the next build, like longer belt loops and rivet spacing and new black screws.

Otherwise I've really happy how it turned out.

That's pretty cool man. Take a look at Fist Inc holsters and how they assemble. I think they use a combination of glue and sew the two pieces together which would save you a lot of extra material.

You ever start making IWB kydex mag holsters, hit me up!

Damn, that looks a hell of a lot better than I was imagining when I read the post! Like JelloStorm said, if you decide to do this for others, let me know. I've got a Sig 220 compact & holter options for it are fairly limited (I know it will fit in a 220 holster, but having that short barrel in a longer holster bothers me for some reason... I know, I'm wierd).

Anyway, nice looking holster... especially for your first attempt.

Trying to do it for a living, been pretty slow lately.

I've been doing leather for 3-1/2 years, but kydex is really my preference for belt carry.
