First Post, hello from NE Texas

Hey yall, new member.

I have the same username on several forums, maybe I'll recognize some of ya.

I have started an AR15 build I wanted an accurate, light-midweight 20" 223/5.56.

So far I have the barrel, gas block and tube, upper and BCG.

I also chose the options for the Badger ordnance gas block, BCM gas tube, and headspaced BCM BCG.

I have a spare PSA Stealth complete lower, that just needs a good Larue MBT2S.

I hope I'm on the right track.

I have a M16A1 surplus kit that I put together with a Brownells retro lower and a Criterion 1:8(or 7?) barrel (purchased through Fulton Armory) that shoots great, but never done real accuracy testing. Here's a pic of it with a pecan stealing crow taken at about 110 yards. (Had a no name lower at this time).

I'll update as the project goes and with some pictures. Out of town now for some deer hunting.

It's impossible that bird was shot with an M16, it would've been vaporized if it had been.

It wasn’t shot with a 9mm either because it’s lungs would be laying on the ground beside it.
