Sorry, no pictures, my wife had the tied up with her stuff she was working on.
I just completed my first detail strip down and clean of the MWS after 300 rounds and it looked great. No issues, no signs of abnormal wear, no signs of any flaking on the carrier.
In addition, the buffer tube looks like the carrier is reciprocating back and forth even, no signs of bottom wear as noted in other members postings.
Cleaning the bolt was easy, a lot of carbon build up, I used Slip Carbon Cutter, for the first time, and let me say it took the carbon build off.
Stood the bolt up on the end, face down, put some of the Slip CC on the build up area, let set for about 15 min, keep adding CC during the 15 min. Then took some very worn Scotch Brite (worn after years of use, but keep it in the cleaning box) and the carbon came right off with very light rubbing.
The barrel cleaned up real easy, no issues there. Lubed up the lower and upper using a combination of Slip and Wilson products. I cant settle on just one. Use the Slip on the upper and Wilson on the trigger group.
Put it back together and ready for range this weekend...After 300 rounds I am satisfied, no problems to report.
