I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on my first suppressor and think I have it narrowed down to these two. Primary use is mid to long range on a bolt gun, but I would also like to use it on my other rifles. Does anyone have experience with both? Is the Ultra 9 worth the price premium over the Nomad-L? If I want to use it on a gas gun as well, is the Nomad-L a better choice? The Nomad-L is in stock at silencer shop. The TBAC is in stock at a dealer a couple hours drive away.

Pretty close. nomad L slightly more durable, but heavier, slightly more quiet, modular mounting interface (1.375x24), slightly lower back pressure.

if it will live on one precision bolt gun I’d go ultra 9.
if you’ll swap between multiple semi and bolt id go Nomad L for the modular mounting alone.

I can’t say much between the cans. I bought my first cans this year and the TBAC Ultra 7 6.5 I bought is fantastic though. Really good sound suppression even on the Bergara Ridge Rifle SP 18” barrel I recently bought and shot last week. It also tightened my groups up. It’s sweet. I guess if the Nomad is full auto rated and you want to do mag dumps then go with that. I also use the Hellfire mounting system. It works well. 419makes good stuff and I’ll be a customer for a long time. I have a few of their other products as well and it’s all top notch quality at reasonable prices in my opinion.
