I ask this question "Which method of resizing produces the closest case alignment to the bore axis"? I have been reading that neck sizing produces the best result for accuracy. But also have read that Full length produces the most uniform and least run out.

So which is the most effective for case alignment, concentricity and accuracy ?

I back off my F/L die to leave a portion of the neck unresized. The still-expanded portion centers the neck in the chamber better, IMHO.

Less neck length resizing translates into less neck tension (which I believe is preferable); and may provide a means for managing neck tension.

A .308 die makes an OK shoulder bump die for .260 cases.

I will also tell you that for SAAMI chambers, getting worked up over case concentricity may not be especially productive, and that my partial length resizing method may be the most productive approach. I make my own ammo with that assumption.

If there were a dependable answer to that you wouldn't be reading contradictory 'expert' advise.
