Have a reloader friend in Phoenix who noticed a flash hole difference in LC 14 (M-80) and LC 14 (M-80 with 5 dimpled dots on baseof case head) and IVI 69 (Canadian) of smaller diameter. The LC and IVI had diameters of .070 while the other LC 14 had standard Saami diameters of .080.
Have any of you noticed this difference and does it possibly equate to a special brass for the IVI and LC -14 with dimples on case head, and might that be for better flame consistency or something else related to accuracy. CURIOUS!
