Flyover country Perspective

Most of the "battles / challenges" here in America, up until now, have been physical..... 2020 has stepped up the battle... It is now psychological. In order to keep your sanity and survive an American must not allow the propaganda to influence who you are and your beliefs. Spend more time with "Mother Nature" where things have been consistent for thousands of years...

They’re waiting for older conservatives to die off and have created a virus to help speed things up. Hopefully gun ownership by the left includes some of the younger population and folks are waking up for real, not just buying for insurance. As others have said, keep posting up the truth of where things are headed and at least get the fence sitters to see what the future holds. And I’m not talking about doing it the bear pit!

Love living in a very rural area. I read with amazement what is happening in the large cities. None of that shit has infected my area. Nor will it. And if it did, I assure you we would take care of it fast. With help from our local LEO. No "defund the police" bullshit in these parts.

I find it funny that a member here tried to make a joke about me saying that I had to spend some time on the tractor and then fix some fencing.
If you have never taken a newborn calf and put it on it's mother's teat for the first time and watch it nurse. You're missing out. If you have never tried that for hours upon hours and failed knowing that early mornings and later evenings of bottle feeding were in your future. You're missing out. For some reason I don't remember a single moment of getting up early to bottle feed being a PITA. Maybe they did and maybe they will but I will be there.
When I go to a city it takes about 30 seconds to get my fill of that shit.

On the other hand. Cities are great, the culture, the enlightened people, the lights and tall buildings all the modern stuff any person could want.
Country life is hard, long hot/cold hours working on things that nobody cares about except for your family. No fancy stores and eateries. Your hands hurt from work and there's always plenty of that. Work, did I mention work?

Tie the bitch 6 ways in a stall and if she still won't allow, run her through the sale by the # knowing she's headed for the grinder. I win either way.

We always sent her ass to the sale or freezer depending, an always had folks who wanted to make pets out of calf's, bottle feeding was a plus to them. We did not have the time with all the row crops, haying an other animals to bottle feed.

Either way. I'll take the country living over the cities.

No doubt about that at all. Being a Indiana farm boy in my childhood has paid off in spades all my life. Plus based upon whats coming it just may be my saving grace and allow putting uncles past teaching, to very good use. At least we blend in here w/o added pressure.
