I just recently got rid of a FN A1. A great rifle!! But it just didn't feel right for me, I have once again gone back to the 700. I know personal preference is the biggest factor here but I feel the stock 700 can be built better (thats just me) what do you guys think?

JACQ, no point to the post really, no questions either. Just like hearing everyone's opinions. A fellow colleague threw a hissy fit over my getting rid of the FN so I just wanted to hear what the members thoughts were.

The majority of the shooters here are Remington 700's. I myself have owned a few, along with the FN-SPR A1, and several others too. Right out of the box, the Savage 10FPLE .308 that I used to own absolutely shot like a laser. I only changed the stock and accutrigger springs.
Rifle that I now have on the way, Savage 10PC. It is your funds, spend them they way you like. For me, it will be Savage.
Of course, the cool camo paintjobs never hurt anything...
