Hello,

Just got in an FN PBR action (CRF, old style 2 lever trigger) with an SPR A3G bedded stock (MCM A3) and a hinged floorplate.

When the action and bottom metal only are installed, everything locks up as it should.

When I take it apart to put incthe internal box magazine, the rifle will not fit back together.

Would anyone know why this might be happening? Reached out to FNH and they said they’d have to get back to me.

Is the back portion of the box supposed to have a slight curve outward?

Small clearance issue?

So, I've got the same mag and with my dial calipers and 5 measurements each I came up with 2.845 for the max coal with the binder/feed lip plate and 3.10 without the binder feed lip plate , God I hope I can remove the feed lip binder and still get reliable feeding !
My FNH TBM&MAGS measures 2.90 max and my reliable feeding rounds measure 2.888 coal.
My calipers are dial and about in the middle of price and accuracy according to a machinist friend of mines opinion.
I hope this helps !

Does anyone know if the removal of the binder /feed plate at the rear of the WIN floorplate magazine for the PBR will adversly effect bolt function and feeding ?

It should be pretty easy.

If you fancy yourself mechanically inclined at all, you should be able to figure it out.

Before any "cutting" make sure that it looks doable and will function appropriately after cutting.

Worst case scenario......you dick it up beyond repair......order another bolt release lever and install it...….back to normal.
