I have been reading this site for awhile and just recently joined. I am an avid deer hunter and just starting out in long range shooting. I retired from the Army about three years ago after 21 years. I have always been into shooting sports both pistol and short and medium rifle. I am interested in becoming much better at long range shooting and have learned a lot from this site and recently had an opportunity to take a two day course with Dan Newberry at Bangsteel. Dan is an amazing marksman and instructor and I learned and was able to apply his instruction on the range which improved my long range shooting skills tremendously. I look forward to learning more from the members on this site. I also look forward to hearing about any long range opportunities in the central Virginia area as well.
