True Dat ... I've got MRAD barrels in 300-PRC, 300-NM, and 338-LM ... all of which I routinely and accurately shoot to 1-mile, which is the limit of my local range. Spending a ton of money for a big-bore with mega-expensive ammo that I can't even use at my range, would be a big waist of money. Now if I had a site with a 2-mile range, and unlimited income for ammo, it might be fun, but I don't.
