Anybody use this? I can not get this to move the shoulder.

I have the neck sizing part down but it's not bumping my shoulders.

The instructions make no mention of adjusting the bump only neck tension.

Strictly technically speaking. If you are neck sizing and shoulder bumping at the same time, you're 99% full length sizing. Why not just go with a F/L die?

"...improves accuracy and prolongs case life because the neck is sized down as little as necessary while still “bumping” the shoulder of the case to maintain overall case concentricity."

Of course if I can't figure out how to use it all that means squat!

I use it and like it very much. The shoulder bump is simply a product of how far you screw the whole dye down into the press. All the busing on the top are just for getting the depth of neck resize you want. I save some older cases which have extended shoulders to use to test the shoulder until the bump is correct and have been able to mark corresponding spots on the press and the dye which gets me close for the first try. Think you will like it once you get the hang of it.

You know I thought about that after I left. I don't know why they don't put that in the directions?! Thanks

I have several, and I like them very much. As stated, just screw the die in until you get the shoulder pushed back as much as you want. I don't have to lube but one particular rifle's cases in them either, I have a chamber in one 300 WSM that obviously is a little larger than most of my others, and the die must hit the body a little bit, but I only have to lube the cases from that one rifle--proceed with caution trying to go with no lube!--but I have several different ones, 204 Ruger, 6.5x284, .308, 300WSM, 270 Win, and don't have to lube the case on any but the one WSM.

Great die IMO

Depending on your guns chamber, you may have to screw the die down until it touches the shellholder to get the shoulder moved back. If it still is not enough, move it another 1/8 turn and try again.

Yes. That is true. I have to cam the ram over a little with my 308 bump die.
