I have been searching for feedback on these glasses but haven’t found much. Was wondering if anyone on here had any experience with them?

No experience and personally hesitant with any new company. I wear Smith Elite series glasses both on and off the range. I had an accident on the side of a mountain a handful of years ago and they saved my eye. I've also caught a number of cases in the lenses while doing testing in a small conex range. Smith customer service has always been incredible for any repairs/replacements I have needed.
I was just thinking that the zeiss lenses earned them a consideration, and the price point isn't to bad. I will probably pick up a pair to try. I use Pilla shooting glasses for skeet and sporting clays, figured these would be a good option for rifle matches.
I have been using the Gatorz BlastShield for a few months.
Extremely well fitting, great wrap around coverage.
I have the Ballistic Transition and Ballistic smoke lenes.
So far I have only had the need for the Transisition lens.

I have not seen any of the problems mentioned on the Zeiss website.
Zeiss does have a stellar reputation in optics.

To me, shooting glasses are a consumable. In my range bag I have 6 or 7 pair. Clear, different degrees of tint, self darkening ones, amber, orange, blue. When they get dirty, scuffed, scratched, I throw them away and break out a new pair. I've tested mine by shooting them with a 12ga at about 7 yards, but I can never seem to get anyone I shoot with that has high end glasses to test theirs that way.
The prices have gone crazy though, I used to pay like $1.75 for them, not they're close to $4.00! F'ing Biden.

I do get a kick out of the folks that will wax eloquently about their multi-thousand dollar scope with great Austrian glass and then put a cheap pair of plastic safety glasses between it and their eyes. lol

I'll bite on this - What advantage(s) do your glasses provide of my current choice of Smith Elite series? I'm always open to better quality gear if it is justified. Where are the frames and lenses made? The website claims up to 70% greater clarity. Over what comparison? Any info is much appreciated.
For decades I used a few pair of B&L Shooting glasses wiht brow tines. Heavy but they worked. About 25 years ago I switched to a couple of pairs of Post-4 Optics, lighter and they worked but the new GATORZ wrap around seem perfect, no rims to get in the way, complete coverage for safety, I have had empty pistol cases get into the interior of the glasses. So for now it’s the GATORZ BlastShield!

Decided to order a set for my son as his $4 specials are pretty scratched. If he likes them I will try some prescription version after my next eye appointment.

@PotbellyVandal - I'll try to give you a quick rundown without getting into a novel...
As you saw, all our lenses are engineered and manufactured by ZEISS, specifically for us, and specifically for the shooting sports - What does that mean....
As many know, the lens grinding and materials technologies from ZEISS are second to none in the industry. For our clear lenses, we use a material proprietary to ZEISS that was actually designed by them for the US Military Ballistic goggles - Based on testing with the team at ZEISS they offer up to 70% greater optical clarity compared to others on the market.
Where we REALLY shine (pun absolutely intended) is with our sun lenses. Like most, we love the benefits of polarized lenses, but they come with some very specific challenges to the shooting community (and the aviation industry actually, but that's a story for another time...)
The anti-glare capabilities of polarization are great, but they come with a few SERIOUS drawbacks for us:
- Blacked-out electronic screens
- That weird 'rainbow-blur' when looking through glass/optics
- Great in bright sunlight, but way too dark in dimmer areas like shade or indoors
So... We worked with the engineering team at ZEISS to integrate some brand new polarization technology they had been developing specifically for the shooting sports - This allows us exclusively to offer polarized lenses that:
- Don't dim/black-out electronic screens (phones, kestrels, etc) or illuminated reticles.
- Don't cause that rainbow blur or other distortions when looking through red dots, riflescopes, windshields, etc
- Offer up to 80% greater visual contrast when transitioning from bright to dark areas - This make them VERY popular with the LEO/Mil community that is making dynamic entries into buildings, and can't be fussing with their eyewear, etc...

I spent $2500 on custom fit carbon fiber helmet with $600 ear monitors from a major Indy supplier. Hard pass on $200 glasses. LOL.
@FortKnightOptics thank you for the informative reply. Next time I see a pair of these somewhere I will have to try them on and see how they compare with my current eye-pro.
