Anybody know where there is some land that someone might own that is interested inn getting rid of their pig problem? With the massive numbers of those things paying for a pig hunt is just ludicrous.......maybe i should just scroll through the internet or sites like back page and craigslist?

Thought y'all would know better....or at least those of you guys here in tx!

Best bet is to go ask a local rancher. If you get lucky, one might let you on their property and do a little killing.

It worked for me in and around Lubbock, but not when I moved to deep south Texas.

Good luck.

We pay $80 a day trespass fee to hunt hogs in TX. I didnt think there was any private land that wasnt pay to play in TX!

+1 Across(West) I-45 from the Sam Houston statue is an entry point, just North of Lake Raven. There's hogs in there. I'd think is archery only though.

I know the folks around Bedias (between Madisonville & Navasota will let you hunt 4 free....drawback is that hogs around there are pretty much nocturnal. Check in at the feed store there.

If you know someone who works in one of the Angleton/Rosharon area prisons, they have 20,000+ acres of state land available for hunting. FREE. There are three units there employees of which have the privilege to hunt there for free. Fishing, too. The employee can bring one visitor with him/her.

And if you don't know an employee? Can you still hunt? If so, how much?

I hear Rifles Only has some pigs at 1000 yards for you to hunt! You better take them up on that!
