Can you please expound on your thoughts of free recoil being used in the precision rifle game? You guys have touched on it a couple times, but it seems the technique is really being pushed to new shooters in classes.
As a competitive shooter myself; I'm not a fan, and feel it doesn't fit into a "field style" match. To me, relying on a "specialized" bag, caliber, trigger, etc. is shortcutting the fundamentals. I completely understand the need to minimally drive the the rifle on certain stages depending on the stability of the barricade, etc, but still feel that it is a "feel" kind of thing and not true free recoil.
If you guys ever want to hit some matches in Nebraska check our group out, The Nebraska Long Rangers, at www.nebraskalongrangers.com.
Keep up the great work and thanks!
