I recently build a SDMR AR and have been shooting it with open sights out to 600 yards. The rifle really shoots great after confirming load with scope, but what I've been noticing is the front sight glare. I'd try 6 oclock hold, and other hold but had trouble repeating the hold for following rounds due to the glare off the top of the front sight making everthing somewhat blend together.
Front site is service rifle post from woa, not sure what size, but it's not too big.
I'm sure this has been asked before, but is there a way to reduce front post glare when shooting service rifle?
Thanks in advance,
ALan
