Not exactly sure, I know people are using them interchangeably... Then there is the guy who says they're different. I haven't hooked mine up yet to use and thought while it's still in newish condition I would offer.
I can’t say for sure one way or another if they are the same or not but I can say that the trimmer indexes off the shoulder so if the shoulder if different then the collets will be different
