I had Bechmark Barrels build this for me off of a Remington 700 long action. This rifle is a tack driver and is 1/2 MOA all day long. I have shot several 1" groups at 300 yards. Round count is less than 150. It shoots 168 grain Nosler long range partitions and Bergers like freaking laser beams. I have killed a pig, two elk and several deer with it.
- 7mm Winchester Short Mag, stainless barrel and Mini Muscle Brake. A match grade reamer was used.
- Action was blueprinted and trued
- Bolt face was opened up and an M16 extractor added
- Matte black Duracoat finish that was done by a friend of mine that did the finishing for Benchmark for a while. A little worn from my backpack scabbard. This rifle has seen some backcountry miles!
- Kwik Klip detachable magazine with a three round mag and one or two 10 round mags if I can find them
- Tuned factory trigger, 2.5 lbs if I remember correctly. Very crisp and no creep.
- Epoxy bedded action in a Bell & Carlson Alaska Wilderness stock with a bedded full aluminum block
- EGW 20 moa picatinny rail and Vortex Precision Match 30mm rings
- Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50, FFC with a ERB-2C reticle, model PST-43127. I have the original box
- I have maybe 20 rounds of my reloads and 50 or so twice fired brass.
No need to wait and build something that is already done $2100 shipped to your FFL. Bipod not included.
