Original US Military issue barrel case for the M240B machine gun with a woodland camouflage pattern. The exterior of the bag is 100% water and wear resistant It has a heat resistant panel for a hot barrel, up to 1800 degrees, to be placed on and allowed to cool. The padded shoulder strap is 3″ wide 24″ long closed cell pad inside. The zippers are impervious to corrosion and are unaffected by heat and cold and has a zippered (YKK) inside compartment. The middle pocket is designed to carry cleaning equipment, cold barrel, and spare parts and has two cinch straps. There is one long narrow pocket (marked for cool barrel) with cinch strap at opening. Heavy duty stitched outside handle. Has three external cinch straps with metal HK type hooks. The thermal barrier protects the soldier from the hot barrel.
