I posted some in Portajohn. I knew money returned to politicians somehow via loopholes, but this was the clearest possible example how money is laundered. Laundering DOES happen with our "foreign aid". The questions is, this supposedly went to dem. campaigns, which shouldn't personally enrich the politician, but clearly does when you examine their financial porfolios.

Ok, I am befuddled by the FTX blowup. Granted I've been in my hidey hole and paying attention to other things, but can anyone give me the layman's summary of how FTX went bankrupt? (Not disagreeing that they were involved in funny money shenanigans--just need someone to walk me thru how they went tits up this last month).
They played the shell game with their money, using one pot to show the other pot was full too. Dipshit CEO got into Twitter pissing match with competitor. People figured out the scam and pulled their money out until there wasn’t any left to take from, but lots of people still owed money. Dipshit files Chapter 11 to stop the run on the bank. People figure out it was all a big lib funding scam.
This shit makes me raging mad. Someone needs to go to prison and this shit needs to stop. So as I’ve said all along, this war is mostly a money laundering scheme. I can’t prove that anyone personally benefitted from this scheme but we can damn sure prove that some very heavy political donations were made and imo people should still be prosecuted as you will never get me to believe that they weren’t doing this knowingly.
