Instructions say 75% cure (functional cure time) is achieved in 16 hours. I know this isn't a dedicated bedding compound and that it has a great many applications which leads me to wonder when it is safe to shoot after bedding. The recoil lug area is what I'm concerned about. What do you all recommend? I don't understand why they don't give a full cure time with the parameters they give with a 75% cure time.

Re: Full Cure time for devcon 10110

It does setup in pretty well after 24 hours, but I placed some small test size drops to see how long it would take for a full hard cure and at 48 hours the thin tacky outer layer was gone at that point.

I separated the action from the stock after 15 hours and then let it fully cure for another 36...just to be safe. FWIW I did the scope rail also...since the entire action was disassembled.
