For sale is a 6.5 PRC built off a Borden Alpine Magnum action.
- Action was cut to accept a Wyatts baney box which would allow you to seat a 156gr Berger out to 3.100 OAL.
- Action also has full Nitride treatment done to it.
- Proof research 7.5 twist 24" carbon fiber barrel chambered with Alex Wheeler's revision 2 reamer.
- Threaded muzzle (3/4-24 threads) and brake turned to mate seamlessly to the barrel.
- Barreled action is pillar bedded into a JCS Composites carbon fiber stock with 2 flush cups on the left side and pic rail up front, stock weighs about 30 oz.
- Rifle Basix Trigger
- Hawkins M5 hinged floor plate.
- Roughly 7 lbs. bare rifle weight.
- Comes with 20MOA scope rail and bipod pic rail
The builder put less than 50 rounds down the barrel for break in and load testing. He held under 1/2 moa @ 500 yards while shooting seating depth tests. Builder shot it out to 1200 yards to verify drops and she shoots awesome. (I have included his pictures of the powder charge test and 500 yard groups)
I personally put 58 rounds down the tube. Shoots factory amazing as well. (pictures shown of my factory shots)
SOLD for Rifle, 40 rounds of custom hand loads (156gr bergers) and load data,
Price is OBO shipped from me to your FFL. IF your FFL requires it from an FFL--add $50.
Factory ELDM and ELDX from 100 yards. I cannot remember which group was which-- its the same target.
.
Builders 500 yard groups, The circles are 2" diameter for reference. All shooting was done prone off a bipod with rear bag:
