Hey guys, for the Houston shooters Bayou Rifles Inc holds an informal silhouette shoot (.22lr only) on the 3rd saturday of each month at the addics range. I went out yesterday and we set up the smallest chicken silhouettes at 100m and shot them off the bench with the 40x. because of the wind it was a real challenge, and turned into some good practice time. for this shoot shooters can shoot any style they want, offhand, bench, prone or anything else that is safe. Due to the trajectory of my .308 load, my 40x provides the exact same trajectory at 100 as the .308 at 600. Next month will be the same thing, its worth the practice and its kind of fun.
