Recently we went to a range to get our M110's out and scrub some rounds. My shooter was done, and a new shooter came up because his team was idk, somehow he ended up on our gun.
I digress...
So were doing a course of fire on UKD and this is the conversation that occurred.
Tgt 1:
Me: "Glass is on, dial 1.5, hold center left edge"
Shooter: "1.5, CLE"
Shooter: "Ready"
Me: "Send it"
I am observing the TGT as I hear the shot, out of the corner of the FOV I see glint in the upper left.... I proceed to take my eye off glass and this followed:
Me: "wtf did you just do"
Shooter: "IDK" looks at me like his kitten was hit by a prop plane...
Me: "WTF did you have on your gun"
Shooter: "1.5, held CLE"
I walk up to see if some craziness happened, and what do I see... 10.5 up.
Needless to say with NEW SHOOTERS make sure they aren't from the special house.
Luckily we had MTNS as backdrops, but still... theres always 1 NSF (non shooting... yeah)
1 week prior he had 2 ND's on the line range right before we ran the CQB house
Needless to say, he's been identified.
