Fx120i not turning on, just ticking?

Just my luck, today is the only day I have time to load for an upcoming match and my scale won't turn on.

I got it brand new, it's never moved from its spot in the house. I have the autotrickler v3 on it. It's a always worked perfectly. I've used it about 20 times.

I went to use it today and the secreen isn't turning on. It's making a slight ticking sound when plugged in.

Anyone have any suggestions? I guess I'll have to call Cambridge Monday?

I think it's a bad power supply plug that came with the autotrickler. I left it plugged in for a few minutes and the power supply was hot when I unplugged it. I just used the one that came with the scale and it worked like normal. The only thing is the one that came with the scale says 1A output and the one that came with the autotrickler says 2000ma output. Is that OK to use the scale one for now?

1 A = 1000 mA < 2000 mA, so... no. Not unless you want to smoke that one too.

Bad power supply or broken cable/s. I would check the cables first, they are known to break.

You can buy a replacement power supply on Amazon with reverse polarity connector. You will get up and running just fine.

Thanks guys, I spent some time in the internet yesterday learning about this stuff. If anyone else has this problem be careful like @NiteQwill says this thing has reverse polarity compared to almost every other electronic out there. This scale uses center negative, seems like 99 percent of the power supply's on the jungle website have center positive polarity.

I don't want to get another one from autotrickler because it will take forever to get here and my luck it will just break again lol. No to mention it's overpriced and I gotta pay a ton for shipping probably. Lots of stuff for this game is outrageous. I was just looking to get an armboard for dopes, the ones that say shooting stuff in the title are like $45. I got a football one for $5 and it's actually better.

I had my power adapter block die. Same thing you’re describing. Autotrickler warranteed it but mines a v4 and under 2 years old.

In the mean time I was able to use the factory a&d power block.

Fwiw I had it in like a week in the US.

Correct. Use this to reverse polarity. I used both on one of my scales.

I just loaded 100 rounds of dasher using the new power supply in post #7. Worked perfectly and nothing got warm or smelling like electrical fire lol. I ordered it last night at like 9pm and it showed up around 2pm today
