FYI - Music w/ Peltor Bluetooth Headset

My wife gave me the Peltor "Ground Mechanic" Wireless Headset for Christmas, thinking I would be able stream music from my phone.

This was not the case. The headset is not A2DP bluetooth, so it would only handle the phone call audio, not music from Pandora or MP3's.

I was about to give up and send them back, but then I ran across an app in Android Market called "Super Mono".
There are a few similar apps as well, but they all do the same thing - convert the stereo audio to mono so that it plays properly on the headset.

Works great on the Incredible (rooted)!

Ran an ipod through my old comtac's with a cable....

Yeah. I had a set that could do the cable, but I wanted to get away from that and go wireless.

Dang Tucker those are expensive! Kinda' big too. Do they get in the way of shooting? (pull off when you cheek the stock)

They were $80 from Botach - Amazon.
