Just an FYI for Quad owners... received my Timney Tikka 2 stage yesterday and test fit it on one of my Sako Quads-- it works! So if you wanted a 2-stage for your Quad you now have a good option. I'd imagine the upcoming KRG Tikka 2-stage will work on the Quad as well.
In case it matters to you, the Timney doesn't lock the bolt when on safe like the stock Sako trigger. Max weight on the first stage of my Timney was limited to 14.5oz, any more than that and the first stage spring goes into coil bind and there isn't enough rearward travel to allow the trigger to break.
So far, really liking the Timney. First stage is nice and smooth with a good stop on the second stage, and the break is very clean-- just as good as the stock Sako trigger if not a little better.
