Range Report G1 and G7 .50 Raufoss MK211 and NM140

Hello, I am looking for de Ballistics Coeficients of the .50 cal ammunition, Raufoss MK211 (or/and NM140)

G1 and G7.

I would like to make some ballistics charts.

Projectile weight: 660 gr. nominal
BC: ~.65-.68
MV: ~2680 out of a 29" barrel.

Yeah I'll second that data, it's pretty close to what I've seen. Projectile weight: 670
G1 BC: 0.67
Velocity: 2680 ish (+/- 30 fps)
Oh and watch out for temp swings. You can expect to lose about 1 fps for every degree.

Kudos to having a stash of Mk211 ammo! I thought they were pretty rare and also valuable. Granted they were gunshow prices two years ago but the factory loaded rounds I saw were $35-40 per. I don't think I'd have the heart to send THAT much downrange per pull!

Judging from the post I think the OP is probably not paying out of pocket. KilerMT you weren't down at Bragg recently were you? Im just laughing if you were, lot of folks scrambling for real Mk211 data about that time.

Where would ya find some of these rounds? How do ya know they are the real deal?
