Howdy!

I’ve been wondering how accurate the GAP-15 rifles are (6ARC). I’ve asked several people that own them and the answer I’ve gotten is “it’s a GAP, shoots like it!”, which to me doesn’t translate into anything specific… im fully aware GA Precision is one of the best shops, I have zero doubts on that, but I wonder what the real accuracy numbers are…

I have a Seekins DMR 6ARC and it shoots very well, .75MOA, I’ve hit targets at 900 yds without a problem, but as said before, I keep wondering what other people’s experience with the GAP-15 are.

TIA!

If you want a GAP-15 build it. You can build thier exact rifle for around $2300, ive built several. The GAP10 is tricky because the builder kits are impossible to find, but the Seekins small frame stuff is everywhere and cheap. All you need is a Bartlein 6ARC from Craddock

Sorry I forgot to hit Post on my follow up reply.

The main reason why you keep getting the "IT SHOOTS LIKE A GAP" is because Accuracy is a subjective topic and most people can't shoot at a level to see thier rifles full potential. The reason why they list the GAP-15 on thier website as only a Sub MOA rifle is because they know just about any one with just a little shooting experience should be able to print at least a 1 MOA group or less with match ammo.

Out of all the Bartlein 6ARC that I've personally built on Seekins kits, CONSISTENT Sub .75 - .65 MOA is pretty common with factory Hornady ammo.

When you start reloading for your rifle is When you'll see Sub Half MOA results and the full potential of your Bartlein Barrel.

Mine shoots great, idk what to tell you. Have shot some groups well under 1/2" with 109hyb and 95 berger classic hunters. The 95's are awesome for the 6arc. Factory hornady ammo for me was disappointing, massive velocity spreads and it showed big time downrange.

I had a magazine cause me some issues that I blamed on the gun very early on, new mag, no issues. Gun has functioned perfectly.

You could probably build one a bit cheaper but not too much..... JP enhanced bcg, triggertech diamond, prs gen3, all the seekins parts, bartlein barrel by a good gunsmith, cerakoting everything. Adds up.

Makes sense, that’s what I’m getting out of my Seekins setup, .75MOA consistently, ive tried it out with a lot of success out to 800 yds, imma work out some new loads and see if I can get it to improve before jumping on the GAP bandwagon.

Thanks Jake!

Nice, .5MOA is very good imo… I haven’t tried 109s in my setup, but I have some, on my next reload samples I’ll include 105 and 109 hybrids, we’ll see how that goes. Thanks bud!

First, I’m not sure how many shot groups you’re referencing. I think you should clarify that.
With all due respect, I agree with this to some degree but it really depends. My small and large frame gas guns are almost exclusively Seekins builds. I’m a decent shooter from a bench or prone.
10 shot groups, 1/2 MOA from a gas gun, are almost unrealistic for most people. Even 5 shot groups are pretty tough.
3 shots…who gives a AF honestly.

Have you ever seen me shoot or post 3rd groups? ..ever?

Maybe read some of my threads...that should give you the clarification you seek.
