GAP non typical VS Rock

Alright guys Ive narrowed it done to these two for my next weapon to purchase. Looking for a lighter weight rifle.

I know the non typical will come in a little less weight then the rock. I know where there is a non typical for sale for the 2000.00 mark.

Anyone one own either of these rifles give me your input. Either way its a GAP so itll be good, just hard call wish I could get both!! The guy selling the no typical says he gets .25 groups out of it seems very good for the non typical! I dont even know if I myself can shoot that good. It seems to be a good deal on the gun itself though price wise

I'm sorry, what' the question?

The main difference is the barrel in both contour and length. If it's a newer non-typical, it may have a GAP or Crusader action vs. a Rem 700 for the Rock.

Sorry guys that apparently sounded better in my head

So on that note for a light weight rifle if you had to choose would it be the non typical or the rock

The non typical Im looking at buying has a GAP custom Templar short action with fluted bolt and side bolt release

why so hung up on light weight....you not getting the wheaties in the bowl with fresh milk in the morning or what....?

Bolt I already have plenty of heavy weapons to use!!! And sometimes its nice to have a light weapon to use. It sucks hunting in hill country with a 15lb+ rifle but point noted

Definitely the non typical if you want the lightest. And if you don't like the B&C stock just sell it and have them bed it in an HTG. Best of both worlds.

non typical is the way to go. lighter and just as accurate.
