Our chambers are minimum SAAMI spec.

Not exactly, our Neck Dia is .342 Sami Min is .344 But with Fedral brass being the biggest at .340 .342 is the tightest Ill run unless somone wants a custom size. The body is Min Sami and the Throat is .85 FB 1 Deg 30

Interesting, I guess that is why my federal brass seems to shoot so accurately from my GAP rifle.

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing that is a standard "match" chamber for .308. I have a reamer print from PTG for my barrel. It looks the same. I had a rifle re barreled with a shilen 1-10 select match and it just isn't shooting. I'm at my wits end. I've gone from the bottom to the top with varget and 4064 and can't duplicate the occasional good group I get with a particular load.

Never quoted myself before, but maybe someone can get something useful out of it. My accuracy issues have been resolved. I clean the barrel now after each range session. If it means a shorter barrel life, so be it. A shitty shooting rifle is of no use to me. It only took me 2 months to figure that one out. Who'd a thunk?
